Mathico Founder Honored with the 2026 Outstanding State Director Award

At Mathico, we are proud to support our students as they explore mathematics through competitions, problem-solving, and opportunities to challenge themselves. Over the years, many of our students have participated in Math Kangaroo programs, earning strong results and achievements along the way.

We are grateful to be part of the Math Kangaroo community and to continue encouraging students to develop their mathematical thinking through programs and competitions that extend beyond the classroom.

As part of this long-standing connection, we are also pleased to celebrate the 2026 Outstanding State Director Award presented to Samvel Sahakyan, Founder of M Academy by Mathico and Math Kangaroo NY State Director, recognizing his eight years of service and contribution to the Math Kangaroo community.

Over the years, Samvel has contributed to the Question Proposal Projects, Team Competition pilot, State Award Ceremonies, and conference representation. His involvement has supported various programs and opportunities available to students and families.

We are proud to share this recognition with the entire Mathico community and look forward to many more opportunities for our students through Math Kangaroo and beyond. Certificate of Recognition
