About Us

Advanced Math School

We are Mathico – Advanced Math School. What we offer goes beyond traditional math and creates perspectives for top university admissions and base for future career development. Our schools provide systematic preparation for National and International Olympiads and Competitions with an emphasis on students’ critical thinking and logical composition sharpening and development. At Mathico, we foster children’s love and passion towards mathematics, encourage them to reach their full potential, and teach them to deal with the most challenging problems.

Our Courses

Preparation to Math Competitions and Olympiads - grades 1-8

Victory in competitions does not depend only on pure knowledge of concept and formulas but also on logical composition. With this course, your child will learn about all the peculiarities of Math Competitions and Olympiads to succeed.

In addition, this course is a reliable source of developing logic and mathematical thinking for young students.

Pre-AMC-8 - Honors Math - Advanced course for grades 4 and up

If your child is into math and science, this course will equip him with everything to have a sound first step towards Math and Science Olympiads.

The curriculum aims at uncovering the fundamentals of how math works, awakening deep love for math in kids and teaching high-level concepts beyond regular math classes.

AMC - 8 Preparation Camp - grades 6-8

Does your child have a dream to be a member of the United States team for the International Mathematical Olympiad? That means he should do extremely well on American Mathematics Competition to be chosen. This course will help him out with that!

Preparation for the next academic year
Grades 1-8

This course will prepare your child for the next academic year.

- Review the previous year's topics focusing on students' needs.

- Introduction to the curriculum of the next academic year to have a proper base for the smooth transition to the next grade.

High School - Algebra I, II, Geometry, AP Calculus AB, BC; SAT/ACT

This course is designed to help your child learn about the fundamentals and more advanced concepts of algebra as well as to cover the topics of geometry that are to be studied in high school.

AMC - 10, AMC - 12, AIME preparation

Does your child have a dream to be a member of the United States team for the International Mathematical Olympiad? That means he should do extremely well on American Mathematics Competition to be chosen. This course will help him out with that!

Sachin Palta.jpeg

Sachin Palta is a senior at Columbia University, where he studies Mathematics and is a member of the university’s tennis team. A Mathico alumnus, Sachin distinguished himself in advanced problem-solving and competition mathematics as an AMC 10 high scorer. He plans to pursue a Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics, continuing to build on his strong mathematical foundation and analytical skills.

Nikolay graduated high school with honors in mathematics and later earned a degree in Finance from UConn with distinction. A former Math Teacher Assistant and New York State tennis champion, he also excelled in UConn’s Student Investment Fund, winning the Best Student Investment Pitch award three times. He now works in finance at a leading firm in Greenwich, CT.

Dash is a Mathico alumnus and an accomplished mathematics student. He earned 1st place nationally and in New York State in Math Kangaroo in 2014, 2015, 2018, and 2019, and was named to the AMC 8 National Honor Roll (Top 10) in 2020. Dash later qualified for the USA Mathematical Olympiad (USAMO) and was accepted to Dartmouth College, reflecting his dedication, perseverance, and strong passion for mathematics.

Tigran Bdoyan is a three-time Ohio State Math Olympiad winner and perfect scorer, recognized for his exceptional problem-solving skills and mathematical creativity. He also served as captain of his high school wrestling team, representing Ohio at national-level competitions. Tigran studied at the University of Chicago and is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of SimCare AI, a San Francisco-based healthcare technology startup, where he combines his background in software engineering and AI with his passion for building innovative products.

Marco Sukhatme is pursuing a double major in Statistics and Computer Science at the University of Chicago, with a strong interest in mathematics, technology, and finance. He will continue his studies through a joint Master’s program in Financial Mathematics and will intern this summer at Coatue Management, a technology-focused hedge fund in New York. A Mathico alumnus and tutor, Marco developed a strong foundation in competition mathematics and advanced problem-solving and enjoys mentoring younger students in their academic journeys.
